Johnnie "Shine" Thomas, Jr. web posted February 26, 2010 EDGEFIELD – Mr. Johnnie "Shine" Thomas, Jr., 93, of W.A. Reel Drive, entered into rest Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jasper Lloyd officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Thomas, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Willie B. (Georgia) Thomas, Eddie Albert Thomas, and Willie (Sadie) Thomas, Edgefield, Johnnie (Eva) Thomas III, Trenton; two sisters, Fannie Tillman and Chaney Glanton, Edgefield; eighteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Essie Cheatham and Susie Glover; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
