Ruth Walker Nicholson web posted March 8, 2008 EDGEFIELD - Mrs. Ruth Walker Nicholson, 96, of Edgefield, died Thursday March 6, 2008 at the Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Edgefield United Methodist Church with burial in Willowbrook Cemetery in Edgefield. Mrs. Nicholson was a native of Cochran, Ga. And was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church. She was a Ret. School Teacher. Survivors include one son, Dr. B.E. Nicholson (Kitty), Edgefield; one daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Hodges (Lady) of Great Falls, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Paul L. Gill, of Ellaville, Ga.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Mrs. Nicholson's home on Columbia Rd. Edgefield Mercantile is in charge of arrangements. ©
