Paul Wayne Carpenter

TRENTON – Graveside Services for Paul Wayne Carpenter, age 64, will be held today, Monday, at 3 pm at Ebenezer Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, c/o Carroll Clark, Jr. P. O. Box 189, Trenton, SC 29847. Mr. Carpenter, a native of Trenton, died Friday, April 11, 2008. He was a son of Helen Clark Carpenter and the late Paul M. Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter retired from Comcast Cable Co. Wayne was very active in the Trenton Community having served as Chairman of the Annual Peach Festival, the Halloween Carnival and the Haunted House, was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters: Libby Carpenter, Wilmington, NC; Julie Anne and Paula Carpenter, Augusta; brothers: Buck Carpenter (Brenda), and Ike Carpenter, Trenton; Michael Carpenter (Jewel), Johnston; sister: Nancy Asbill (Buck), Johnston; his Mother; and Companion, Sheron Glover. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul M. Carpenter.
