Larry Byrd web posted March 21, 2008 TRENTON – Mr. Larry Byrd, 58, of Girl Scout Camp Rd., husband of Carolyn Shellman Byrd, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Trenton with burial at Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery in North Augusta. Mr. Byrd was a native of Glascock County, Ga. and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a Carpenter. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Myrtice Thigpen Dye; 1 daughter, Barbara Burton; 2 sons- Billie Byrd, Daniel Byrd; 3 step- children, Renee Mead, Melissa Harris, Dwayne McKie; 2 brothers, Roger Dye, Ralph Byrd; 4 sisters, Sarah Morris, Joyce Nabors, Opal Chalker, Betty Miller; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, March 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. ©
