Sherman Drawdy Barrett web posted March 9, 2008 CLARK HILL – Mr. Sherman Drawdy Barrett age 52, entered into rest on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Graveside services will be held on Monday March 10, 2008 in Westover Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lance Thomas officiating. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Charlotte D. Barrett of Clarks Hill, SC, one brother, Tobin Barrett and his wife Lilly of Charleston, SC, two nephews, Carl Barrett and William Barrett also of Charleston, SC. Two nieces, Virginia Bethune and her husband Travis of Atlanta ,GA. and Caroline Wheatley of Atlanta. Sherman was preceded in death by his father, James Tobin Barrett, his sister, Mariana B. Wheatley and a nephew Daniel Wheatley. Sherman was born in Augusta, GA, he attended Aiken Prep High School and Augusta State University. He was a private photographer. In remembrance of Sherman D. Barrett contributions may be made to the Childrens Medical Center at the Medical College of Georgia, 1446 Harper St. Augusta,GA 30904.
