TRENTON – Entered into rest Monday, March
31st, 2008, Mr. Donald P. 'Donnie' Adair, 58, of Trenton, SC, beloved
son of the late William 'Bill' Miliam and Mildred Mize Adair. Born in
Greenville, SC, he had lived in the area for the past ten years. He was
a former District Manager. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his
country in the United States Army where he obtained the rank of
Sergeant. Prior to his health declining, he enjoyed golfing, fishing,
and cutting his grass. Family members include his children, Shannon
Barton, Charleston, SC and Stephanie Adair, Trenton, SC; siblings, the
late James W. Adair, Kenneth M. Adair, Los Angeles, CA, and Thomas A.
Adair, (Elizabeth) Trenton, SC; granddaughter, Brittany Poole, niece
and nephews who were very special to him, April Elizabeth Kruger,
(Jason) Sean William Adair, and Thomas Alan Adair, Jr. and his beloved
dogs, Sophie and Spanky. A Celebration of Life Service will be held
today, April 4th, 2008 at 3 o'clock at Bath First Baptist Church, Bath,
SC, Pastor Herb Sons and Rev. Dr. Joe Youngblood officiating. Interment
will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, SC.
Pallbearers will be Mike Koon, Gene Hightower, Scottie Griffin, Woody
Barton, Charles Moyer, and Roger Stevens. Honorary Pallbearers will be
Terry Savely, and members of the 2nd Battalion 35th infantry Cacti Blue
Pete, Pete Birrow and Frank Adams. Donnie will be placed in the church
at 2 o'clock today. Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, U.S.
Hwy. #1, Langley, SC is in charge of arrangements.
