Merriwether Tree Lighting Just Around The Corner

web posted November 27, 2018

MERRIWETHER - The Merriwether Community Coalition and the Merriwether Fire Department extend a hearty invitation for you to attend the first Merriwether Tree Lighting, which will take place on December 1st at the Merriwether Fire Department at 1879 West Martintown Road.  The event will be conducted from 4pm - 6pm.

There are rumors of Santa showing up, so you may want to bring your cameras if you would like a photo.  We also understand that there will be a hayride to drive people from Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church to the Merriwether Fire Station across the street. From what we hear there might be hot cocoa, hot apple cider, hotdogs and even símores!  You may even hear Christmas carols being sung to celebrate the season.

Check out the Merriwether Community Coalition Facebook page for the most current information.
